I've loved art since I was a tot and, over the years, have focused more squarely on design. I draw on the regular and get caught up in a never ending scroll through Behance and Designspiration frequently. Graphic design has a special way of communicating universally that I'll never get tired of. It inspires as much as it informs. My passion lies primarily with print, although more recently I've found myself loving web for its endless possibilities. I enjoy utilizing traditional techniques like block printing, knitting, letterpress, cross stitching, painting, and screen printing in combination with digital elements.
I graduated in May of 2013 with an Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Johnson County Community College. Since then, I moved to DC to help non-profits and social good organizations with their design work at Made by We. In September of 2017 I made the jump to move to NYC with my BFF and currently work as a freelancer.
My other passion is music, specifically Beyoncé.
